Brunch at Amandine. Coffee, mushroom quiche, vegetable sandwich, and a slice of fruit tart.
Brunch at the Larder at Tavern. Lemon ricotta pancakes for me, Wild mushroom, goat cheese, and spinach frittata for him.
Today’s lunch: Breakfast.
As a side note, I’m still hungry. Perhaps because I ate a bagel for lunch.
Today’s breakfast: Grilled veggie egg white omelette w basil hollandaise from The Cottage in La Jolla.

It’s Friday, overcast and gloomy out - I felt the mist sprinkle my face as I walked to my car this morning. Cool out, I have my space heater on warming my feet. My cardigan is soft. The coffee, hot and comforting. Cookies, the perfect treat for a sweet ending to the week.
Yesterday, Sunday, I made a batch of cinnamon rolls. It was a half batch but I still managed to get sixteen rolls out of them. A friend had us over for dinner last night so I packed up several for her. Her neighbor also happens to be my friend so she got a care package of these sweet rolls also.
Today, I brought in the remainder to work.
For breakfast, I ate one along with my cup of coffee.
Even a day old, these cinnamon rolls are amazing.
