Reminding us to stop and smell the roses.

Nala loves my pregnancy pillow.

Nala was begging for some of my dinner. It’s hard to tell from the photo, but she was standing on my legs trying to get her little face as close to the food as possible.

Nala always gets a really sad face when we pack, like we’re going to leave without her…. but we never do! Silly dog.

Tonight’s dinner: roasted butternut squash and balsamic brussels sprouts on mixed greens. Nala just ate but she’s hoping for a few bites anyways!

Christmas road trip #2 begins.

“Look ma, I can do up-dog… literally!”
Someday I’ll get a photo of her doing her up/down dog on my mat. She’s done it before but I’m never fast enough!

“I’m ready!”
Nala took over my mat.

“Please?”

“How about now, what if I ask with my other leg?”

I made detox kale and barley soup for dinner.

Nala: Mmm… that smells good. Can I have some?

No where else she’d rather be.
