It’s an interesting thing to live in LA - it’s endearingly referred to as ‘la-la land’ for good reason - and yoga is no exception. Recently, Equinox (an upscale national gym with an undeniable and expansive presence here) released a video featuring Briohny Smyth. You can view it here. It’s stirred up quite some controversy and at the time of my post, there have been over 1.5 million views.
Briohny teaches at my studio, Yogis Anonymous. I ran into her yesterday when I arrived for my class as she was wrapping up subbing for another well-known teacher, Brock Cahill. As Briohny chatted about how she’ll soon be a guest on the Ellen Degeneres show, someone else mentioned that Yogis Anonymous recently received a nod on CNN for their live streamed classes.
La-la land indeed.

You’ll find their schedule for live-streamed classes, as well as a comprehensive library of their past classes. There are a few free classes posted, and as it turns out, Briohny’s class is one of the current free classes featured.
